Emergency diagnosticsDisconnect, remove and record retired equipment, including agreed drive handling at your site.
Data destructionWe work in data centres and business IT sites. Send the postcode and access requirements so we can confirm coverage before arranging the visit.
We confirm the equipment, site rules and work needed before arranging an engineer.
Install
An engineer comes to site to install, decommission, move, cable, label or inspect equipment, following your access rules and agreed scope.
Plan
Tell us what the system needs to run and where it will live. We turn that into a practical plan for compute, storage, networking, rack space and power.
Cover
Independent onsite support from Uplink for agreed equipment, with attendance, replacement parts and reporting defined in writing.
Diagnose
Remote checks can only go so far. Subject to confirmed scope and availability, we inspect server hardware at site, including offline RAID arrays and controller faults.
Retire
Drives stay at your site while we match them to the asset list, follow the agreed destruction process and provide a record of the work.
Over 15 years in hardware deployments and troubleshooting
That experience covers server and storage installations, rack changes, difficult hardware faults and offline RAID arrays.
Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, Lenovo ThinkSystem and Supermicro.
GIGABYTE, ASUS, ASRock Rack and other server manufacturers.
Our Broadcom MegaRAID experience carries across many of these server platforms.
When a RAID array goes offline, we inspect the controller, drives, cabling, backplane and event history before changing the configuration. If the safer route is specialist data recovery rather than an onsite rebuild, we will say so.

Share the postcode, access rules, equipment list and the work needed or fault symptoms.
We confirm the scope, required parts, authority to make changes and the records you need.
The engineer follows your site rules, completes the agreed work and records each change.
You receive the findings, asset changes and any next steps.
Uplink can define the job, plan the hardware, send an engineer to site and return a clear record of what changed.
Plan a visit or report a fault
Email the site postcode, equipment list and access requirements, or call to discuss the work or fault. We will use those details to confirm the scope and next step.
